This 4 Days Red Elephants Safari targets lovers and ethusiasts of this large mammals. Ofcourse most of the BIG five will be viewed as well in three of Kenya’s less-crowded national parks in Kenya, Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East, provide varied ecosystems, home to numerous amazing creatures.
Amboseli National park at the foothills of the Kilimanjaro , has some of the biggest elephant herds in Kenya, Whereas Tsavo west will showcase the famous red elephants.
After Breakfast, depart from Nairobi along with your Safari Yetu Safari guide/driver. Drive through the Athi Plains as we head to Ambroseli National Park, kenya’s home of Elephants. On arrival in the Park , you cant help but notice the gigantic Kilimanjaro mountain in the back drop.
Check into your lodge. Have a lunch break and an 2 hour rest and immediately set out for the afternoon Game drive. Enriched with lots of Elephants, lions, cheetah, Zebra , giraffe among others.
Sign off the day with Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge.
Awake to an early morning cup of coffee, and immediately head out for your mesmerizing safari drive filled with Elephants and the Kilimajaro in the back drop. The game drive is not only limited to the elephants but the wild cats like lions, cheetah are visible during the game drive.
Return to your lodge for late breakfast. Check out and dapart for Tsavo West National Park.
Tsavo west is popular for the Red elephants, known so because of the red volcanic dust they play in all day.
On this day, We will enjoy an enchanting evening game drive, then have dinner and overnight at your lodge.
We continue with our Kenya Safari exploration of Tsavo National Park, after breakfast, we do another game drive in Tsavo West and depart for Tsavo East National Park, the True home of the Red Elephants.
Check in, Have lunch and brace for another afternoon game drive experience in Tsavo East National park,
We also visit the Galana river famous for the Hippo sightings. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast, climax your Kenya Elephant Safari in Tsavo East National Park with a game drive. Return for a good breakfast, Check out and Drive back to Nairobi to Nairobi.
AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Amboseli National Park situated in southern Kenya is popularly known as Kenya’s home of Elephants. This is so mainly because of its large elephant herds and spectacular views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Sightings of the large herds of elephants in the park’s vast plains and swamps is truly a magical experience. The Park is also habitat to variety of wildlife including in giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and a wide variety of bird species.
TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK
Tsavo West National Park is located in Taita-Taveta County of Kenya is the second largest protected area in Kenya covering an area of 9,065 square kilometres. The park is a major wildlife haven and home of the Ngulia black Rhino Sanctuary. Some of the other popular wildlife in this park include the Leopard, cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, plains game, crocodile, mongoose, hyrax, Oryx, dik dik, lesser kudu, Klipspringer and the nocturnal porcupine besides soaring hight in birdlife with over 600 recorded species.. Together with the Tsavo East National park and with adjoining ranches , they comprise the Tsavo Conservation Area.
TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Tsavo East National Park is one of Kenya’s largest national parks covering appx 13,747 km². The popular wildlife in the park include the big five, black rhino, cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, and lion. This park is also fondly referred to as the true home of the Red Elephants.
